Common Questions

How do I upload my data? GeneBee supports .txt files from 23andMe and AncestryDNA. Simply tap 'Try Now' and select your file.
Is my data safe? Yes. GeneBee parses all data locally on your device. We never see or store your DNA data.
What file formats do you support? We accept raw data .txt files from 23andMe and AncestryDNA, and .csv files from MyHeritage. Download your raw data from your provider's website, then upload it in the app.
What's included in the report? Your report covers health-relevant variants across areas like lipids & cardiovascular, methylation, vitamins, inflammation, metabolism, sleep, and more. You can export an official PDF to share with your doctor.
Where do I get my raw DNA file? Log in to your 23andMe, Ancestry, or MyHeritage account on their website, go to Settings or DNA results, and look for "Download raw data" or "Export data." They'll email you a link or provide a .txt or .csv file.
Can I get a refund? We do not offer refunds. If you have technical issues with the app or your report, please contact us at support@genebee.io and we'll help troubleshoot.
